1. It is probably not said enough that the new Helix figure is great. And that goes for the new Dial Tone in the TRU set, even though it is just a head swap. Both Joe and Cobra need more new female characters. What do you guys have in the pipeline in the way of new (or reimaged) female characters?

Quote:
Its great that you like Helix, she is a great character! We are always trying to add depth and variety to the Teams and the female characters have always played such an integral part to the story. I'm sure we'll have some new female characters coming down the pipeline! More info to follow!

2. Rumors are persisting that sales are down and SOME of the stuff we saw at JoeCon will not be coming out. Are we looking at a complete loss at not seeing ALL this product at all or are we looking at another "pause" so the shelves can clear off some during the holidays? It seems like a shame to cancel some of this stuff. What is or isn't getting the axe and are we looking at any release pauses?

Quote:
The Pursuit of Cobra line is scheduled for release in 2010.

3. Two Q&A's ago, JoeIntel.com asked about if there is a list of licensees or of misc merchandise that we can expect to see. Hasbro answered with "we will look into having this at JoeCon." Well, JoeCon has come and gone, and TIS THE SEASON for gift giving (and office Secret Santa drawings). Any way we can get a list published to aide us in the holiday season - plus maybe we can get some of the product warming the pegs off the shelves for your retail partners!

Quote:
Great idea, we will look into this.

I think part of this was the quality of questions we sent (face it gang, you didn't give us much to pick from) and another part of ol' Hasbro keeping the cards close to the vest. All three were pretty light answers. They might as well have told us to buzz off for question #2 and their answer for question #3 was nearly exactly what they wrote the last time...... Anyway, I'll be nice and withhold any criticism - I am getting the impression that most of the answers were like this.

They were. Somebody got out of them that Saw Viper and Crazy Legs are scheduled for 2010. Someone got them to admit that they would think about putting out the Iron Klaw Trooper whose prototype recently surfaced and that was it. I think with these questions it really isn't even worth the time. We spend so much time trying to figure out how to get information of out team Joe and the reality is we probably aren't going to get anything.

I mean everyone in the community wants a Reactive Armor Breaker and all they can say is no. They can't even humor us and say that's not a bad idea? Every once in a while I stumble across the Star Wars Q & A and Hasbro actually communicates and teases with their SW Q&A. These Q&A's should be about building anticipation not frustration. Someone on team Joe needs to go back to Marketing 101.
